"The Bartender"

"In these days of playing it safe and being politically correct, here's an anachronism for you - two songs about the demon drink and both on the same slab of blue vinyl."
- The Bluesbunny
This limited-edition 7-inch single, released by Scotland's Metropolicana Records, features two rare Uncle Leon solo tracks.
"The Bartender" is a rambling 8-minute epic about the perils of falling for the woman who serves your beer.
On the B-side, Uncle Leon teams up with the incredibly talented Mimi LaValley for "Honky Tonk Ways", a boozy, feuding-couple gripefest reminiscent of the glory days of classic country duets.
Lovingly mastered at London's Abbey Road studios, pressed on beautiful heavyweight blue vinyl, and featuring a full-color inside photo spread, this UK-only release promises to fulfill the fetishistic standards of even the most finicky vinyl enthusiast.
